So, this hasn’t been the start of the New Year that we all would have liked, but the good news is, with coffee shops and restaurants being open for takeaway, we can make the most of Veganuary in London and explore all the tasty options available on our daily walks! At Coffy, our partner stores all cater to vegans with their alternative milks, meaning you can have your coffee/tea/hot chocolate how you like, there’s no extra cost as it’s part of your subscription! Some of the coffee shops we’re partnered with also offer vegan food, so you can go the full Monty and enjoy a coffee alongside a hearty breakfast or brunch. Let’s not make this January so blue, and enjoy some of the best Veganuary has to offer!
Situated in Bloomsbury, Victoria House Coffee and Food are cooking up a storm. Their vision is to take customers on a gastronomical journey through unique flavours and an eccentric menu. Offering vegan açai bowls alongside oat pots with cherry compote, peanut butter and much more, Victoria House caters to the many, not the few. Obviously we also have to mention they serve wonderful coffee, which can be served with almond milk, oat milk, coconut milk or soy milk, so you really are spoilt for choice at Victoria House.
Kin Café in Fitzrovia is a vegetarian and vegan eatery, so a good destination for Veganuary, I’d say! With their menu changing daily, there’s always something new and exciting to try at Kin. A lot of the beliefs Kin holds are reflected in the care they take to source prime ingredients and great products. Their emphasis is on sustainability, not only environmental but also social, supporting other start-ups and small businesses and where they can, they’ve used suppliers who have a wider positive impact. Kin also are one of our only coffee shop partners that offer pea milk! They really do go the extra mile to cater to their customers and their beliefs, a perfect place to treat yourself this Veganuary.
Family run and bursting with vegan food to try, Cafe 66 are leading the way for cafes in Barnes. They offer a scrambled tofu alternative to the much love scrambled eggs, so no one at the brunch table has to feel left out. They have plenty of sweet treats that are vegan too, so if you’re not looking for something savoury, Cafe 66 have you covered. All cakes and bread are made in house, with love (and vegan ingredients).
Coffy is proud to partner with such a diverse range of stores that cater to everyone. Rest assured that this Veganuary, Coffy and the coffee shops we partner with will be taking good care of you. Stay safe out there and make sure you’re keeping to the government guidelines!
