With more freedom ensuing, there’s no better way to celebrate than enjoying brunch like you’ve not left the house in a month (it’s ok if you haven’t, we don’t judge).

Coffee House 607, Holloway

post-3

Alongside their delicious Workshop coffee, Coffee House 607 offers a great brunch menu to kick start your day. You can grab sandwiches, served on renowned Rinkoff’s Bakery bread, as well as the classics such as avo on toast (with their homemade chilli jam). The main event though, is their filthy baps, a staple of this North London coffee shop. There’s a sausage, bacon and vegan option to choose from, as well as the festive bap currently available, so get them while they’re hot! The filthy bap was born out of owner Johnny’s frustration at baps not having enough sauce, so be warned, it’s going to get messy!

Leafwild offer seasonal menus perfect for a cold winter’s morning or a bright summer’s day. There are many vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options, so everyone can be well and truly fed. Their notable chia pancakes are well worth a try, or if you’re feeling something more savoury there are Buddha bowls full of rich goodness. Leafwild take pride in everything they serve, including their wonderful coffee, courtesy of Brew Coffee Plus Roasters.

Alongside their array of delicious wines, Table 13 has some great food options to relinquish your hunger. There are meaty or vegetarian sandwiches and focaccia to choose from, all available on sourdough bread, (just like the hip kids like it), from Wild Grains Bakery, in Walthamstow. Pizza is also up for grabs if you feel like sharing, as well as pastries and cakes to satisfy that sweet tooth. These all compliment the Terrone Coffee served, Italian coffee at its finest.

Cafe Kybelle, Shoreditch

Inspired by Mediterranean flavours, Kybelle boasts a classic brunch menu as well as an amazing salad bar selection for those who are feeling a little more adventurous. There’s a delightful porridge to get your much needed nutrients, which can be enjoyed as a vegan option too, with Kybelle offering Oat, Almond, Coconut and Soya Milk. Or you can give their recently launched burger menu a go that can be enjoyed as sliders or as a main dish to get your taste buds going! A Kiss The Hippo coffee blend, redeemable with the coffy app, is served to top off this versatile coffee haunt and can be enjoyed alongside a hearty brunch.

Terry’s Cafe, Borough

post-3

A greasy spoon with class, Terry’s have been serving the people of Borough since the 80’s. Terry’s follows an important ethos that has been passed through generations, ‘great quality home cooked food at a fair price’. Austin, Terry’s son, now takes exquisite care of the cafe, ensuring locals and visitors who come from near and far are treated well and proper. ‘The Works’ is the most popular dish, and hungry Londoners flock to enjoy it (and we recommend trying it for yourself to see what the fuss is about). They’re not stingy with their portions so be sure to arrive hungry! Terry’s serves Monmouth Coffee, roasted nearby in Bermondsey, keeping it local and have some amazing British memorabilia on show, so be ready to snap some pictures of your experience for the gram!
